THICKNESS OF THE CARD

Metal membership cards come in a variety of thicknesses ranging from 0.3mm to 0.8mm (0.012” to 0.0315”). If necessary, we can also produce thicker member cards. Thicker cards are naturally heavier, which is something to consider from the standpoint of your members.

RADIUS IN THE CORNER

STRIP MAGNETIC

NFC (Near Field Communication) chip

For metal NFC business cards, there are a variety of chips to choose from. The most prevalent smart chips are the NTAG, MIFARE Classic 1K, and Ultralight.

NTAG213 – NTAG216 – Suitable for smartphones & tablets

Because both chips are NTAG®, they are compatible with all NFC smartphones and tablets. They both have 7-byte UIDs and can perform NTAG21x functions (such as password lock and scan counter). The accessible memory on the two chips differs significantly: the NTAG213 contains 144 bytes, whereas the NTAG216 has 888 bytes. As a result, the NTAG216 chip is favored for storing contacts in V-Card format with many fields or when more information is required on the chip. The NTAG216 chip is more expensive for the same reason. If you don't have any memory requirements, the NTAG213 chip will suffice.
