RFID tags on windshields are used for vehicle tracking and giving access control to vehicles. If an RFID tag is damaged, you may request a new one from the issuer of the tag itself. The damage can be due to faulty chips, damages sustained by the antenna etc. In most cases you won’t be able to repair it without some level of penalty in performance.
